Facebook users '˜like' your #YEPleeds
Tens of thousands of readers have now chosen to ‘like’the newspaper’s official page on the online social networking service, which enables users to post statuses and pictures.
By clicking ‘like’ button, users signal to their friends that they approve of the page, which offers readers breaking news with links to stories, promotions, competitions and photography.

Hide AdAndrew Hutchinson, YEP digital editor, said: “Facebook is a great way for our readers to stay in touch with the latest news and sport delivered straight onto their news feed.

The YEP also has separate pages on Facebook to promote hyper-local news content covering west, east, south, and north Leeds.
Our Facebook landmark comes just over a month after the YEP reached a milestone on its official Twitter page.
The paper’s Twitter handle @LeedsNews, supported by the hashtag #YEPleeds, reached 100,000 followers in November.
