A series of drive-in socially distanced concerts across the UK have been cancelled.

Dizzee Rascal, Kaiser Chiefs, Gary Numan and Spandau Ballet's Tony Hadley were due to perform at Utilita Live From The Drive-In concerts, including one at Leeds East Airport, near Church Fenton.

The programme was set to visit 12 venues across the UK between July and September.

But Live Nation, who were putting on the gigs, has now confirmed they have been cancelled due to the "latest developments regarding localised lockdowns".

Leicester is the only place to go into a city-wide lockdown, but smaller areas such as a Herefordshire farm, where 200 workers are self-isolating after 73 tested positive, have also gone into lockdown.

Acts would have performed to about 300 cars at each show, backed by concert-quality sound with a full lighting rig and LED screens.
